Our Aim

The Community Association for West Hampstead (CAWH) aims to improve the life, health, and social wellbeing of the whole community in West Hampstead, particularly children, young people and older people at risk of isolation. We play an important role in bringing people together and helping to make West Hampstead a cohesive community and an enjoyable, inclusive and sustainable neighbourhood.

We run a whole range of activities from our community centre, including Keep Fit classes, Art, Yoga and much more! We also hire our hall out from private use. If you would like to hire the hall for a private event, or if you are interested in running a class from our centre, get in touch!

Get Involved

Volunteers help promote the Charities work or help distribute leaflets. Some volunteers also help us to run existing activities such as the popular Film Club or be an ambassador. If you have a skill to share we want to hear about it.

All of the Charity Trustees are volunteers who bring their skills, knowledge and experience to manage the strategic direction and vision of the organisation. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have experience in the areas of Human Resources, Fundraising and Financial Management

Who funds us?

CAWH is an independent Charity. We rely on funding from Trusts and Foundations, Hall Hire income and local fundraising efforts. Please help us continue to serve the local community by Donating!
